Tesoro Ristorante Italiano

Soon after Filomena Di Franco and her husband Anthony sold their popular south Scottsdale restaurant, Molise, they opened Tesoro, a cozy, 45-seat gem tucked out of the way in Ancala Village, on Via Linda just north of Shea. Together with their grown-up children, who cook and wait on tables, they serve specialties from all over Italy, including veal dishes, fresh seafood, and lots of perfectly cooked homemade pasta. Preparations are fresh and simple, and the portions, too, are the perfect amount to fill you without putting you into a food coma. And even if it feels like you've had plenty to eat, don't miss the tiramisu, some of the best in town.
