Here's a rundown of Phoenix's best Valentine’s Day events in 2025 of the music and nightlife variety. Just remember who loves you enough to keep your social calendar packed.
Ska-Lentine's Day
Friday, Feb. 14 at Yucca Tap Room, 29 W. Southern Ave., TempePerfect for: Rude boys and rude girls in loveSka-punk isn’t just a soundtrack for spastic skanking by obnoxious teenagers — it’s music for lovers, too. As VICE noted in 2017, the genre “provides a rhythm for tenderness through upbeat strumming and horns.” It's something to keep in mind if you plan to attend Ska-Lentine's Day on Friday at the Yucca Tap. The locals-only event will showcase bands like Torn At the Seam, Swigfoot, Rocket Steadman and cleverly named Arizona ensemble The Skavelinas. The show starts at 8 p.m. and there’s no cover.
Bad Romance: A Lady Gaga Night
Friday, Feb. 14 at Thunderbird Lounge, 712 W. MontecitoPerfect for: Little MonstersThe Thunderbird will go full-tilt Gaga on Valentine’s Day when it hosts a dance party in honor of the Mother Monster and her new album, “Mayhem,” which drops next month. DJ Feral will spin selections from Lady Gaga’s catalog, including “iconic bangers, hidden gems and jaw-dropping mashups,” as well as newly released singles like “Abracadabra.” Come dressed in your best Gaga-inspired outfit (or recreate her stunning look from last weekend’s Grammy Awards) for a chance to win prizes. You can just dance beginning at 9 p.m. Admission is free.
Valentine's Super Love Jam
Friday Feb. 14 at Footprint Center, 201 E. Jefferson StreetPerfect for: Fans of slow jams Every year around Valentine’s Day, the annual Super Love Jam tour brings a lineup of legendary R&B, funk and soul artists to the Valley. The latest edition is headlined by Keith Sweat, the smooth-voiced singer known for such loverman hits as “Make it Last Forever” and “I'll Give All My Love to You.” Others on the 2025 tour include British-born funk band Heatwave R&B groups The Jets, Ready For the World and Force MD’s. Kimberly "Maxi" Wuletich and Cheryl Ann "Cheri" Bailey from the Mary Jane Girls will also perform. The concert is at 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $47.50.
Emo Anti-Valentine's Day Dance Party
Friday, Feb. 14 at Level 1 Arcade Bar, 48 W. Main St., MesaPerfect for: The mopey and melancholy If ever there was a genre suitable for an anti-Valentine’s Day event, it’s emo. That’s why DJs at Level 1’s Friday night party will be spinning melancholic rock anthems to serenade the broken-hearted from 9 p.m. until close. Drink specials, including $5 mystery shots, will be on hand to dull the heartache. Admission is free.
Valentine's Cabaret
Friday, Feb. 14 at The Nash, 110 E. Roosevelt St.Perfect for: Couples into jazzLove won't be the only thing in the air at The Nash on Valentine's Day. Arizona jazz vocalist Sandra Bassett and her backing band will enchant with her soul-stirring renditions of romantic songs and standards. A dessert bar will also be offered. The concert starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $52 to $59.
Raven's Red Hot Valentine's Party
Friday, Feb. 14 at Blue Martini, 5455 E. High St., Suite 101Perfect for: The high-style crowdCouples and singles can partake in drinks, dancing and dinner at this stylish 21-and-over affair from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Local party band Superhero and DJ Josh Q will provide the soundtrack throughout the evening. Jackson St.Perfect for: Creatures of the night Fantastical fun awaits at this high-style masquerade inspired by dark fantasy and vampiric lore — albeit more in the vein of Anne Rice than “What We Do In the Shadows.” Attendees can interact with characters like Queen Akasha and enjoy performances of burlesque and aerialist artistry. There will also be a red carpet entrance, live entertainment, choreographed ballroom dancing and local DJs in the mix. Vampire-themed, courtly or black-tie attire is requested. The bloody good time starts at 6 p.m. Tickets for two are $250.
Crushed Hearts and Bloody Arrows: Anti-Valentine's Punk and Metal Bash

Commiserate with other lovelorn souls while local hard rock, heavy metal, punk and even punk-adjacent bands set the mood with their brooding tunes. The lineup includes performances by Evil Wizard Weed, Traumatone, Kactus King, Samurai Spaceman and He, Then. The show starts at 7 p.m. with a $10 cover.
Cupid's Creepshow Vol. 2
Saturday, Feb. 15 at Yucca Tap Room, 29 W. Southern Ave., TempePerfect for: Fetish-friendly freakazoids A mix of burlesque artistry and sideshow thrills will be served up on a platter of broken glass by the Pain Proof Punks. Clothes will be shed, boundaries will be pushed and the unexpected is totally guaranteed. Artists will include Irene Silver Britni Bloodshed, Rusty the Clown, Lexi Locket and Kinky Kirra. Local bands and vendors will also be part of the twisted fun. The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $15.
Anti-Valentine's Day Dance Party

Second St.Perfect for: Jilted and jaded folksThe lovelorn can work out their issues (or take their minds off all their relationship drama) while hitting Crescent Ballroom’s dance floor on Saturday night starting at 9 p.m. Local DJs Pootiecat and Codeen will be in the mix. Admission is $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
The Buttertones Baby Doll Ball
Sunday, Feb. 16 at Walter Studios, 747 W. Roosevelt St.Perfect for: Lovers of surf-kissed indie/garage rockSoCal indie rockers The Buttertones will wrap up Valentine’s weekend with an evening of swoon, swagger and surf-soaked noir grooves. Amid the reverb-drenched riffs haunting their tunes are expect lyrics about lost love, late-night escapades and romance straight out of a black-and-white crime film. Israel’s Arcade (the synth-centric project of singer-songwriter Israel Pinedo) and local emo-rock act Bethany Home share the bill. Doors are at 7 p.m. Tickets are $27.
