Metro Phoenix festivalgoers will have no shortage of options to choose from this fall. Already on the schedule: a Wild West-themed EDM blowout, an indie rock party inspired by outer space and a three-day bash that blends rodeo thrills with country twang.

You can also add the Dreamy Draw Music Festival to the mix.

The two-day event celebrating “music, art and connection” is set to return this fall. Last week, Phoenix-based promoter Oh Wow Company announced on Instagram that the 2025 edition of the Dreamy Draw Music Festival will take place Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7 and 8 at the Scottsdale Civic Center Amphitheater.

The lineup for this year’s Dreamy Draw Music Festival will be announced in the coming weeks — as will ticket info — but promoters are hinting at a shift in sound.

‘Introducing new energy, fresh sounds and a different rhythm’

Originally launched in 2023, the two-day event at the Scottsdale Civic Center was touted by co-founder and talent buyer RJ Largay as a “multifaceted experience.”

“We’re going to lean into the Southwestern sort of vibe but will have more than just country music,” Largay told Phoenix New Times in 2023.

As such, the first two years of Dreamy Draw showcased a mix of Americana, bluegrass, folk and indie acts, including singer-songwriters Margo Price and Charles Wesley Godwin and bands like Midland, Mt. Joy, Shakey Graves and Flatland Cavalry.

According to the Dreamy Draw website, the event may be undergoing a sonic evolution. A statement in the FAQ section of the site reads as follows: “For the past two years, Dreamy Draw has been rooted in the soulful sounds of Country and Americana. This year, we’re evolving, introducing new energy, fresh sounds and a different rhythm. We’re still grounded in the desert, but we’re exploring new directions.”

What that evolution entails is anyone’s guess. Stay tuned.
