The first store opened in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1933, and now there are 27 locations serving Ray Lamar’s classic recipes in six states. Arizonans can only get a taste of LaMar’s in North Phoenix near Bell Road and the 51. There you’ll find slightly crispy glazed donuts so delicious they could be considered works of art. No matter your favorite flavor – apple fritters, chocolate-iced crullers, raspberry-filled Bismarcks, glazed cake donuts, or buttermilk bars – you’ll find a tasty version at LaMar’s. Can’t decide?
