We've always wanted a solar-powered burrito, and now, thanks to Chipotle, our wish is coming true. Representatives for the Mexican grill announced this week that they plan to install solar paneling on 75 of their restaurants.

The panels are designed to alleviate pressure on the power grid during peak hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Founder and co-CEO of Chipotle Steve Ells says that efficient energy is in line with their commitment to sustainable fast food.

John Berger, the CEO of Standard Renewable Energy, the company that's partnering with Chipotle, says, "Chipotle has recognized an eco-friendly method of reducing its operating costs while reducing its carbon footprint."

Interestingly, there is no word if one of these solar-powered restaurants will actually land in the Valley of the Sun.
