The iconic bar at Thunderbird Lounge is made of wood from an abandoned bowling alley in Globe.
This conversation has happened countless times, “Dude, we should open a bar.” Well these dudes went and did just that. The Thunderbird Lounge is nooked up in the last slot of the historic Wagon Wheel Building in the Melrose District, and many details set the new spot apart from other neighborhood bars. What's more, most everything has a story behind it.
