You really don't have to say the words "free pizookie" twice to get our attention. BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse locations will be giving guests a free dessert today to celebrate the launch of their mobile app. All you have to do is download the app, order one, and stop into one of four Valley BJ's Restaurant locations.

BJ's Restaurant's new mobile app offers the ability to order ahead for dine in and take out orders. While the dine in order ahead component seems logistically like a nightmare for the kitchen, we're willing to try out that specific function to get a free half-baked, gooey chocolate chunk pizookie topped with two scoops of vanilla ice cream.

The deal is available at all four Valley BJ's Restaurant locations in North Phoenix, Peoria, Chandler, and Mesa. Just remember to download the app and order ahead and you're good to go. No purchase is necessary to get your free treat.

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Phoenix with no paywalls.
