On Friday afternoon, just before her motorcade made its way back to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, it made a small detour to Grand Avenue. Harris stopped by Bacanora, the immensely popular Sonoran restaurant led by James Beard Award-winning chef Rene Andrade.
The event was closed to the media, but the Vice President reportedly recorded digital content at the restaurant.
On each of her visits to the Valley, Harris and other members of the Democratic presidential campaign have stopped by local restaurants. Here's where the motorcade has been so far.

During Kamala Harris' visit to Cocina Adamex, owner Adriana Zapata described the vice president as an "authentic, beautiful person."

416 N. Seventh Ave.In August, Harris and vice presidential candidate Tim Walz visited the Valley for a rally at Glendale's Desert Diamond Arena. After the rally, Harris and Walz fueled up on tamales.“The Secret Service doesn’t show up just because,” Cocina Adamex owner Adriana Zapata told Phoenix New Times. She'd received a call that a VIP would stop by to pick up takeout.
That VIP happened to be Harris plus Walz and a number of other Democratic politicians. Along with grabbing their order of three dozen tamales, Harris took time to chat and pose for photos with the staff.
“It was like we already knew who she was, she wanted to know who we were, really. It was so amazing," Zapata said.
Walz cracked jokes and was "happy and funny and outgoing,” according to the restaurant owner.

The company is based in Minnesota, where Walz is the governor.

Three generations of the Wilcox family welcomed the motorcade.

“I said, Mr. President, this is a historical. You’re lifting up our little neighborhood here, our barrio," Earl said.
