2: Strawberry Fruit "Pizza" from Vincent Market Bistro
We can hardly wait until October 15, when chef Vincent Guerithault re-opens his Saturday market that runs from fall to spring in the parking lot of Vincent on Camelback, his fine dining establishment of French cuisine in Central Phoenix.
Until then, we'll settle on Sunday brunch at Vincent Market Bistro, the charming little eatery behind the main restaurant and home to casual French fare and pastries. Pastries like the strawberry fruit "pizza."
Featuring chunks of juicy strawberries atop a light, buttery crust in the shape of a small pizza, this pastry packs a sweet yet delicate punch.
We like to savor it with a cup of café latte while pretending we're in Paris.
