Bad Mormon: Mitt Romney in Mesa

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's recent appearance at the Mesa Amphitheatre drew thousands of supporters and a number of dedicated opponents. The latter group included members of the Arizona DREAM Act Coalition and dog owners dubbing themselves "Mutts Against Mitt," a poke at Romney's infamous 12-hour family car ride to Canada with his Irish setter Seamus strapped to the roof of the vehicle in a kennel.

Supporters of Congressman Ron Paul also made some noise, with one pro-Paul protester arrested. For an in-depth look at how Romney's immigration stance conflicts with teachings of his own faith, see this week's feature story, "Bad Mormon." PHOTOS BY JAMIE PEACHEY.
