Artist Lalo Cota is one of Phoenix's most renowned and prolific muralists. His works grace several walls in the Roosevelt Row arts district, and well as plenty of other parts of the city. Born in Mexico, he often incorporates skulls and other imagery that's prevalent in Mexican culture. Here's a small sampling of the many murals he's painted in downtown Phoenix, plus a look at some of his other artworks. Photos by Lynn Trimble.
