Tuesday nights at Skeptical Chymist have an academic ambience. The Irish Pub Quiz features European beer specials but everything else about the evening is straight out of the schoolhouse. Skeptical Chymist imposes strict time limits, doesn't allow cellphones and offers questions that make you feel like you forgot to study. If you're going to take part in the quiz, the staff has no qualms about strongly encouraging you to drink more than just water.
