Scottsdale's Newest Italian Restaurant, La Locanda, Family & Friends Soft Opening

New Times got a peek at La Locanda Ristorante Italiano, a new spot in Old Town Scottsdale, during a friends and family preview last week. The restaurant features the work of executive chef Andrea Volpi and chef Guillermo Alcala, with drinks from Bill DeGroot. Recipes come from northern Italy, with pasta made in-house and entrees featuring local ingredients. La Locanda opened to the public December 23. Call 480-284-6511 for details regarding reservations.
