The Vegetarian Food Festival debuted at Scottsdale Civic Park on Saturday, January 10, 2015 to mixed reactions. While the sold out event attracted tons of friendly folks with kids and dogs, the festival was lacking in the food department. Local vegetarian Indian restaurant Udupi drew the longest lines, as it was one of the few vendors to feature hot food, and ran out of items to offer within a couple hours of the event's start.
