As a symbol of the southwest, the Saguaro cactus stands tall as a Phoenix icon. The toothy spine of the cactus presents us with an uneasy ambiguity between man and his environment.

The process of creating in the desert is very cathartic.

Taking a step back and seeing the natural world and how it relates to my art is very rewarding.
