Where’s the wealthiest ZIP code in Maricopa County? If your finger is hovering somewhere over Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, you’re not far off.

According to U.S. Census data, those two slices of the Valley are some of the richest in the county. Also rolling in dough are a few ZIP codes in the East Valley. The West Valley is not represented.

Here’s how all of Maricopa County’s ZIP codes compare by 2023 median household income. The bluer the ZIP code, the richer it is. Below are the 10 wealthiest ZIP codes in the county.

1. 85253 (Paradise Valley)

Unsurprisingly, a Paradise Valley ZIP code tops the list. Just west of Phoenix Mountain Preserve and filled with golf courses, this ZIP code of more than 17,000 people is in one of the richest suburbs in America.

2. 85262 (North Scottsdale)

This north Scottsdale ZIP code spans from McDowell Mountain Regional Park up to the northern border of Maricopa County at Seven Springs. While significantly larger than Paradise Valley’s ZIP code at more than 1,552 square miles, it has a slightly smaller population of about 13,000 people.
