We just got word that R. Lee Ermey -- best known for playing the no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket and later for making out with Steve Zahn in Saving Silverman -- will appear at an event with Senate hopeful J.D. Hayworth.
If you're not familiar with the guy, check out some video of one of his many motivational speeches after the jump.

Ermey isn't throwin' an endorsement Hayworth's way or anything along those lines. Apparently, the two share a common goal: changing the name of the Department of the Navy to the Department of the Navy and Marine Corps.
The two will be appearing together tomorrow morning in Yuma to support HR 24 -- a congressional resolution that would make the name change official.
If you're in the Yuma area, this may be a J.D. Hayworth event worth checking out -- it's not often you can see two total maniacs (though one of them's an actor) share a stage.
Anyone interested can check the two out at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Armed Forces Memorial Park -- if you do show up, just make sure to begin and end every sentence with "sir."
