Elvis (Food) Is in the Building Tomorrow Only at the Musical Instrument Museum

Feeling the urge to shake, rattle, and roll while munching on a Hound Dog Sandwich of peanut butter, Wilson Ranch bacon, and banana on brioche bread?

Best shake those hips to the Musical Instrument Museum tomorrow.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., tomorrow only, Saturday, August 6, the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM), will be servin' up a menu of southern favorites including sweet tea and Memphis-style BBQ as part of its day-long celebration of the new Elvis Presley permanent exhibit.

Along with homemade, King-inspired fare made with local ingredients like the Heart Break Hotel salad, Shake, Rattle, and Roll peanut butter dessert, and Burning Love barbecue plate at The Café at MIM, guests can check out the new Elvis Presley permanent exhibit, performances by Las Vegas Elvis tribute artist Donny Edwards, an Elvis Exhibit Q&A with Kevin Kern, director of public relations from Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., and Elvis trivia.

See the menu and get the rock 'n' roll details, after the jump.
