Forks up, Phoenix! Chow Bella and Roosevelt Row present the sixth annual Pie Social at 2 on Saturday, November 21, at the Bioscience High School at 512 East Pierce Street in Phoenix. We've got an all-star lineup of bakers making pies for you to taste, and from now till Pie Social, we'll introduce them to you, one by one, through pie charts designed by each chef to capture his or her persona as a baker.

Gluten-free pie lovers, rejoice, because Pie Social veteran Julie Moreno of Jewel's Bakery and Cafe will be back again this year to sling some gluten-free goods. Moreno has been baking gluten-free since she learned her daughter, Sophia, had a gluten allergy and started a gluten-free cupcake business out of her house several years ago. Since then, she's expanded to open a gluten-free bakery and cafe in Phoenix, where her motto is that everything must taste "as good or better" than the gluten-full version.
