Taking a break from the action.
Despite that old trope about geekdom being the domain of dudes, the reality is that it’s anything but. For proof, look no further than Phoenix Comicon 2016. The four-day event from June 2 to June 5 featured the actresses behind several of sci-fi’s more legendary female characters (including Alex Kingston from Doctor Who, Star Trek: The Next Generation's Gates McFadden, and the Bionic Woman’s Lindsay Wagner) and a multitude of ladies practicing cosplay or getting their geek on.
