Good Cops, Bad Cops, and the Worst Cop: Our 10 Most-Read Stories

Crime totally dominated your attention last week as eight of the 10 stories you spent the most time reading on phoenixnewtimes.com were related to crime. Cops were praised after they quickly identified the suspect in at least six murders in Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, and Phoenix, preventing him from any more carnage as Dwight Jones killed himself after being surrounded at a Scottsdale hotel. On the flip side, several officers in Mesa were suspended after two videos surfaced showing them allegedly assaulting suspects. You also read about the convicted (and pardoned) former top cop who is running for a seat in the U.S. Senate. Even the one music story in the top 10 was about the most dangerous album covers of all-time. (See if you can find the fifth Beetle.)
