There's been plenty of new eye candy on the local street art scene this year. In March, California artist Karen Fiorito's anti-Trump billboard went up along historic Grand Avenue. In June, a trio of women artists came to Phoenix as part of their When Women Disrupt tour, installing wheat paste images addressing racism and sexism. And recently, Jetsonorama created a mural at Eye Lounge that raises awareness about the impact of uranium mining on Navajo Nation communities. Here's a look at some of our favorite 2017 murals — so far.
