60: Neil Borowicz These days, you can find Neil Borowicz behind the scenes. The artist co-owns Argo, an art services business that has completed renovations and installations in museums around Arizona, including the newly opened Musical Instrument Museum in North Phoenix and the Western Discovery Museum in Tusayan.

When he's not on a scaffold, he's in the studio. Borowicz graduated with a masters in printmaking from ASU, but has spent the last 15 years focused on his sculpture work. He's been on staff at the Heard Museum and SMoCA, as an exhibition designer.

1. List five things on your Inspiration Wall (real or imagined). Anything that makes me want to take a picture of it The art of anonymous/ artist unknown The music of Scott Walker Polar exploration Curves 2. What's your last big project? For the past year we (Argo) have been working making instrument mounts and installing at the new Musical Instrument Museum in North Phoenix. We are currently finishing up installation at the Western Discovery Museum in Tusayan.

3. What's your next big project? On the personal side, getting back into the studio to sculpt again.

4. What do you think the Phoenix art scene needs more of? Time.

5. What's something you want Phoenix to know about you? I'm a pretty good tipper.

(And, if you're game, what's something you really don't want Phoenix to know about you?) I have a hard time remembering what day of the week it is.

Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
