Rosita's Place

A real gem when it comes to authentic Mexican fare in the Valley. The humble exterior belies a quaint ambiance consisting of colorful tiles, rough-hewn furniture, and a small, gurgling waterfall with fish in the pool below. As far as the food goes, consider it your yardstick for how magnificent tacos and frijoles can taste. The albóndigas melt in your mouth, and the flan will curl your toes, it's so creamy with caramel. Though Rosita's is no spring chicken - having been around for more than 30 years - this grande dame is still putting most other Mexican joints in town to shame.
