Operated by Superstition Farm, Udder Delights makes what is arguably the freshest ice cream in metro Phoenix. There are 20 flavors available every day, and the selection gets pretty wild. You never know what you’ll find, including classics like apple pie, crème brûlée, and s’mores as well as off-the-wall varieties like avocado, red hot banana, and tamarind. Udder Delights also has sorbet in flavors such as apple cider, lemon ginger, cucumber blueberry, and Queen Creek Olive Oil, and its frozen yogurt – in flavors like cajeta, horchata, and pineapple upside-down cake – is made from scratch. In addition to frozen dairy delicacies, the farm kitchen makes artisanal cheeses like ricotta and cheddar, butter infused with herbs and honey, buttermilk salad dressing, and cheesecakes. Can’t get enough? Udder Delights even has its own CSA-style program, the Pint of the Week Club. For $75, members can take home a different pint of ice cream, sorbet, or frozen yogurt for 12 weeks.
