Buckeye’s Skyline Regional Park is going to the dogs . . . literally . . . on Saturday, June 4. Buckeye’s Recreation Division is celebrating National Trails Day at the park, 2600 N. Watson Rd., from 6 to 8 a.m., welcoming all dogs (leashed, of course), to join in the two-hour event. In conjunction with the American Hiking Society and North Buckeye Animal Hospital, the free event will offer interactive activities for pets and their owners, including animal-friendly vendors, give-aways and hiking on the miles of trails in the beautiful new park. Owners are urged to bring water for themselves and their pet, wear sun protection and consider carpooling, because parking is limited at the park north of the Interstate 10/Watson Road interchange.
