Russell Simmons Calls Bill O'Reilly Out

Hip-hop legend Russell Simmons is calling FOX News personality Bill O'Reilly out.

Simmons, the new Editor-In-Chief of, recently wrote a blog on the site asking O'Reilly to bring his criticisms of hip-hop directly to the hip-hop community and do a guest blog on the site.

"For far too long Bill has used The O'Reilly Factor on Fox News to spew inaccurate statements and ideological taunts about hip-hop," Simmons wrote. "Rather than speaking indirectly to us using the code of right wing rhetoric, I am giving Bill O'Reilly a straight-up opportunity to come out of the Spin Zone and speak to millions of hip-hop supporters and leaders about whatever he may feel is important." features celebrity bloggers from the world of hip-hop, such as John Legend and Ne-Yo, along with industry insiders like Kevin Lyles, Executive Vice President of Warner Music Group. It also features "Daily Words of Wisdom" from Reverend Run, and political commentary from the likes of Michael Steele, the Chairman of the GOP.

No word yet on whether or not O'Reilly will take Simmons' challenge, but we'll keep you posted.
