Every last Thursday of the month from now until May, Shake Shack Scottsdale Fashion Square is hosting Shack Sounds, where you can listen to live tunes and down discounted beer. Starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, you can enjoy $4 pints and $5 large beers from Huss Brewing and listen to live music courtesy of local band Breakup Shoes. Enjoy pours from places like Passion Cellars, Village of Elgin Winery, and Arizona Stronghold Winery. Presale tickets cost $15 for six tasting tickets and $20 on the day of the festival. Scottsdale's Simon's Hot Dogs is throwing a party on Saturday, April 1, to celebrate the release of some new dogs. Down three new hot dogs including the Bandeja Paisa Hot Dog with beans, chicharron, sweet plantains, avocado, and hogao or refried tomatoes and crushed potato chips on top; the Napolitano Hot Dog, with marinara sauce, basil, and mozzarella cheese; and the Choripan, made with bratwurst and topped with chimichurri sauce and mustard. Rustler's Rooste 4th Annual All You Can Eat Pig Roast Barbecue

Classic steakhouse Rustler's Rooste (one of our Essential Food and Drink experiences) is hosting its annual Barbecue Day on Sunday, April 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dig into beef ribs, whole hogs, smoked chicken wings, and macaroni and cheese. You also can participate in a chicken-wing-eating contest. The first-place winner takes home $100. Preorder adult tickets cost $28 per person. Day of tickets cost $32 per person.
