Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Dining Out For Life
Face it; eating is something you are going to have to do at some point today. Which in turn means you have no excuse to not be a part of today's Dining Out For Life. All day, participating Valley restaurants will be supporting the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS by donating a portion of breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner sales to the nonprofit organization. With over 50 restaurants to choose from, there is sure to be at least one on the list that suits your dining needs. Click here to check out the full list.

Insalata di polpo
It's pretty, isn't it? Even you haters have to admit that photo kinda makes you wanna stop hatin' on the poor cephalopod mullusc, aka octopus. That beautiful salad is made up of tender marinated bits of tentacled meat tossed with pea sprouts and julienned carrots. Wanna give it a shot? Click here for the recipe. Quick tip - if you want really tender octopus (which you do), double (or triple) bag the octopus then give it a whirl in your washing machine on the spin cycle. It will replicate the old European tenderizing tradition of beating the octopus against sea rocks.
