It's all about Willamette Valley vino this week at The Parlor in Phoenix. Join in the pizzeria's Fall Wine Dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday for courses including pan-roasted salmon with cannellini bean and a house-smoked bacon salad, stuffed leg of lamb with cauliflower mash and mushroom ragu, and a sweet wild berry panna cotta for dessert. Sommelier Showdown: Carlo Mondavi v. Peter Kasperski at Cowboy Ciao

Listen up, oenophiles: Scottsdale restaurateur and wine enthusiast Peter Kasperski is set to face off against Carlo Mondavi of the famed Napa Valley winery in a Sommelier Showdown on Wednesday evening. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Cowboy Ciao, guests will be treated to a five-course meal with two wine pairings per course, one picked out by each of the dueling sommeliers. At the end of the meal, diners will vote on whose wine selection was best paired to the dish. The Sommelier Showdown costs $60 per diner. La Spinetta Wine Dinner at The Market Restaurant + Bar by Jennifer's

From 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, The Market Restaurant + Bar by Jennifer's will host a La Spinetta Wine Makers Dinner. The seven-course dinner will feature dishes including beef carpaccio, a tenderloin prepared with pecorino, fried quail egg, citrus oil, micro arugula, and go lb. salt truffle salt paired with La Spinetta Rose. Brewery Launch Party at Two Brothers Tap House
