A night of inspired art, wine, and food will unfold across Old Town tonight. Scottsdale Gallery Association's Gold Palette Artwalk is hosting a special event called A Taste of Scottsdale: Eat, Drink, & Art, and it's happening today, April 5, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The event will take place along Main Street from Scottsdale Road to Goldwater Boulevard and north of Indian School Road to Fifth Avenue. This is a free event.

A Taste of Scottsdale: Eat, Drink & Art is one of eight yearly events the Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) puts on to promote Scottsdale's art galleries. SGA is a nonprofit organization composed of gallery owners who exhibit fine art in the Scottsdale area. The group believes in sharing art with everyone. The Gold Palette Artwalk series is one way to do so.

Participating wineries include Los Milics Winery, LDV Wine Gallery, Sonoita Vineyards, Aridus Wine Company, Kief Joshua Vineyards, and Village of Elgin Wineries. Guests can also expect bites from AJ's Fine Foods, Sphinx Date Company, The Herb Box, and Bourbon and Bones.

These wineries and food providers will be pairing with six participating galleries, where the vino will be poured and the bites will be eaten. Available art will range from wearable works by French Designer Jeweler to River Trading Post's diverse Native American art. Aside from the six galleries, other artists will provide refreshments for perusing guests. There will be plenty to sample.

The galleries and their alcohol and food will be spread down Main Street. Scottsdale will provide free trolleys and horse-drawn carriages for the event so you can travel in style.
