Support the independent voice of Phoenix and help keep the future of New Times free.
Guten tag, German food fanatics! If you haven't been getting your fix of schnitzel, sauerkraut, and strudel, head on over to Tonto Bar & Grill in Cave Creek for their Oktoberfest celebration.
German chef Ernst Andreas was brought in from Tonto's sister restaurant, Stables Ranch Grille, to prepare authentic Deutschland cuisine. The menu includes potato pancakes with apple compote, sausage with sauerkraut, veal wiener schnitzel, and black forest cake. Tonto is also offering some hard-to-find German beers such as Hopf Helle Weisse and Reutberger Export Dunkel.
The special German-centric menu is available to download here, and in the restaurant Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. until October 29. Tonto is located off Rancho Manana Boulevard off of Cave Creek Road.
