Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Saucy Cooking Class
This Thursday join Maggiano's Little Italy from 6 to 9 p.m. for an evening of wine, cooking and good company. Chef Jeff Berglund will teach you how to make crab and shrimp fondue, Piccata sauce, Hollandaise sauce, Béarnaise sauce and for dessert, crepes Suzette. The sauces will be served with chicken scaloppini, asparagus and beef tenderloin and will be paired with complementing wines. $75 ++ per person. Reservation are required and seating is limited. Call 480-333-4100 to save your seat.

Five Ingredient Tomato Soup
It looks like everyone is jumping on the five-ingredient bandwagon and we totally understand why. Fast, cheap and simple ways to put dinner on the weekday table are the best! While we don't support the five-ingredient grilled cheese (seriously? Most store bought bread has WAY more then five ingredients) we do support Marcus Samuelsson's Five-Ingredient Tomato Basil Soup. Throw together a batch and if you must, pair it with the cheater grilled cheese.
