It's the new year and we're reflecting and resolving. Skillet Doux is reflecting on the past year of all things he considered delicious. Using random.org he's created a mighty fine list of dishes to run out and enjoy if they're still on the menus around town. He's included his meals at Shin Bay, Nee House and Binkley's, among many others. Check out the whole write-up here.

Many of us are resolving to eat better, and there's a new cookbook to inspire. It's called Ancient Grains for Modern Meals by Maria Speck and it was reviewed by Linda Avery for Pen & Fork. She's even shared a recipe for Saffron Waffles with Orange Cream.
