Green Day is coming, and we ain’t talking about the punk band, brah. Nope, it’s the annual alcoholic extravaganva known as St. Patrick’s Day, where liquor and leprechauns collide in one clamorous Celtic craic. Everyone can have a wee bit of Irish in them, especially after pounding a few pints of Guinness, Harp, Smithwick’s, or the requisite green beer offered up by nearly every watering hole and saloon in and around P-Town. Since Lá Fhéile Pádraig occurs during the weekend, you’ve got a few nights to make like a stylish Shane MacGowan, especially after scanning our listings of the groovier Gaelic galas going down at our favorite local hangouts and gin joints on Saturday, March 17 (unless otherwise specified).
