The third Valley location of Snooze, an A.M. Eatery will open its doors Wednesday at 310 North Gilbert Road in downtown Gilbert.

The restaurant is the latest to open on what's becoming a hot dining corridor in the East Valley suburb — popular restaurants Joyride Taco House and Oregano's sandwich the newest Snooze location, just north of the intersection of Gilbert Road and Page Avenue.

As at the other Snooze restaurants, which can be found in Phoenix and Tempe, the 4,200-square-foot restaurant will have a retro-futuristic theme — picture an old school diner in space — and will offer free coffee and games including cornhole and ping-pong to diners waiting for tables. The design includes brightly painted walls, the restaurant's signature round booths, and rollaway garage doors that open onto a patio.

Founded in Denver in 2006, Snooze first came to the Valley about two years ago when it opened a restaurant at the Town and Country Shopping Center. News of a Gilbert location followed about a year later, followed by plans for a third location in Tempe on Arizona State University's campus. That location opened about seven months ago.

The restaurant serves a breakfast and brunch including a selection of Benedicts, sandwiches, and panackes. It also serves a full menu of coffee drinks and breakfast cocktails such as mimosas, Bloody Marys, and beer.
