The Arizona Rattlers’ attempt at winning a fourth straight Arena Bowl is not off to an auspicious start. First the Rattlers lost All-Arena League offensive lineman Michael Huey (he was signed by the San Diego Chargers). As if to prove his importance, the Rattlers offense proceeded to stall out in a shocking loss to the expansion Las Vegas Outlaws.
The Rattlers will be looking to put their season back on track when they host the Portland Thunder at Talking Stick Resort Arena, 201 East Jefferson Street. The Thunder’s offense has struggled even more than the Rattlers', so this could be a low-scoring affair.
