While swank swimming soirees have dominated the summertime scene (as usual), none have been as posh or pimp as the pool parties happening at the W Scottsdale Hotel. The ultra-upscale auberge, located at 7277 East Camelback Road in Scottsdale, has welcomed in a young and stylish crowd to all manner of fashionable fetes at its second floor WET Deck pool since temps started skyrocketing in May, including a well-attended event starring superstar Morgan Page earlier this month. An equally hip happening will ensue on Sunday, July 29, when DJ Soulman (of Phunk Junkeez fame) stages the Oasis Affair at the hotel. In addition to spin sessions by Soulman and Las Vegas duo Scooter and Lavelle, the afternoon-long fiesta will feature performances by Highnoone and William Fucking Reed's side project Blaque Panther Disco. The party starts at 11 a.m. Call 480-970-2101 for cabana reservations and admission prices.
