Yesterday we met Billy Bessinger, bar manager at RnR in Scottsdale. Today he shares with us the recipe for the Berry Hot Mess, a gin-based cocktail made with blackberries and jalapeno for a sweet, zesty experience.
"You can taste the heat, but it's not a spicy drink," Bessinger says. "It's good for me because I've got the allergies going right now, but it clears me right up. It's a refreshing, light cocktail that just wakes you up, and it's not overpowering. It's actually one of our owner's favorite cocktails, and it'll be on our new cocktail menu that premiers at the end of April."
