Valley Bar will celebrate the 94th birthday of Rose Mofford — the former governor of Arizona and the namesake of the bar's lounge — this Friday. "The Rose" cocktail will be discounted to $5 from 4 until 8 p.m. and features vodka, Tempus Fugit Violette, lemon juice, rose water, and simple syrup. Valley Bar is going to play Mofford's favorite music and raise a toast in her honor at 7 p.m. According to the event's Facebook page, "If we are lucky, she might even stop by." Free Iced Tea at Eklectic Pie

To celebrate National Iced Tea Day (yes, this is a thing), Eklectic Pie is offering a free iced tea to any patron all day on June 10. Eklectic Pie has partnered with local tea gurus China Mist, and will be giving away Coconut Pineapple Green Tea and Strawberry Guava Black Tea at its Mesa and Chandler locations on Friday. Winemaker Lunch at FnB

Chef Charleen Badman's vegetable-centric FnB is serving up a four-course lunch paired with wines from Clarkdale, Arizona-based Chateau Tumbleweed this Saturday. Lunch begins at noon. Irish Cultural Center Celebrates 10th Annual Bloomin’ Beerfest on June 11th
Saturday, June 11

The Irish Cultural Center will commemorate the life of noted Irish author James Joyce during the 10th Annual Bloomin’ Beerfest. Attendees can enjoy live Irish music, Ulysses readings, and beer and wine tastings to celebrate the life of Joyce. Tickets include a souvenir drinking cup and 16 tickets for beer tastings, wine, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, and food. Due to the adult language featured in Ulysses, all attendees must be 18 or older. The Center gates open at 6:30 p.m. Bloomin’ Beerfest runs from 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets cost $25 in advance and $35 at the door. 10th Annual Wine in the Pines Festival 
Saturday, June 11

This Saturday, you can sip Arizona wine, feast on Mexican food from El Bravo Mexican Food, and cool off at the historic Crown King Saloon on Main Street in Crown King, Arizona, located about 90 minutes north of Phoenix. Tickets include all wine tastings, food, a souvenir glass, and entry in door-prize drawings. Proceeds from the event are donated to Child Crisis Arizona, along with a special auction to benefit the Crown King Fire Department.
