Calling itself, "the premium olive oil experience," Oliv, a new boutique and tasting room featuring over sixty flavors of olive oils and balsamic vinegars, is now open at the Biltmore Fashion Park.
Open since late December and founded by Awie and Isabeau du Toit, who own a olive farm in South Africa, Oliv has two locations in Canada, where it is based. The latest shop in Phoenix is the first in the U.S. and, according to the company's website, where the founders' son resides.
In addition to varietal olive oils like Moroccan and Coratina, and flavored olive oils including black truffle, Persian lime, and citrus habanero, Oliv offers balsamics sourced from Modena, Italy, including an eighteen-year-old traditional variety as well as flavors such as mango, garlic cilantro, and caramel.
Prices start at around twenty dollars. For a complete listing of products and recipe offerings, go here.
