That's a Wrap! Gets Unwrapped For New Dinner Offerings

Last Saturday, CenPho's That's a Wrap!, the lunch spot specializing in good-for-you wraps, salads, and rice bowls, announced it would be soft launching a new dinner menu sans the tortilla coverings.

Aptly titled "Unwrapped," the new dinner menu starts after 5 p.m. and will focus on six healthy-themed plates between $8.25 and $11.25 (the new dishes will be introduced one or two at a time, so all may not be available.)

Read on for the full unwrapped dinner menu and my first impressions.

My soy-ginger flank steak was perfectly prepared and had a wonderfully unexpected mildly spicy flavor along with a touch of sweetness. Sides of quinoa-garbanzo salad and house slaw were satisfying, as well. The marinated grilled portobello mushroom, sometimes a risky order if unfamiliar with the skills of the kitchen, was well-prepared and "meaty" enough to satisfy any vegetarian -- especially with its hint of garlic and soy sauce. Covered in chimmichuri rice atop a house salad, it proved a successful plate.

If all of the new dinner offerings at That's a Wrap! turn out to be as tasty as the two I sampled, patrons of this CenPho eatery are in for a nice, affordable, p.m. outing of the unwrapped kind.
