Heads up, Valley diners: Chef Bernie Kantak, Andrew Fritz, and mixologist Richie Moe -- the trio behind the stylish yet easygoing Citizen Public House in Scottsdale -- have announced their newest restaurant, The Gladly, will open this Saturday, August 31.

Located at 2201 East Camelback Road (formerly Ruth's Chris Steak House) in Phoenix's Biltmore neighborhood, The Gladly will offer guests an eclectic menu of new American dishes with global accents as well as inventive cocktails and "the Valley's largest collection of whiskeys and scotches."

Fans of Kantak's exemplary cuisine with a twist can look forward to a thoughtful menu of dishes like lamb riblettes with a chile rub and cumin fig glaze ($15); pistachio chicken liver pate ($9); a Pigstrami sandwich ($12); yellowtail with avocado tzatziki ($28); and five-spice duckling with fermented black bean mole, pickled raisins, masa polenta, and sweet potato greens ($28).

On the libations side, expect the unexpected from mixologist Richie Moe. Along with new signature drinks -- including The First Word served up with Hophead vodka, Green Chartreuse, Luxardo, lime, and egg white ($13) and the Goldsmith served on the rocks with Nolet's gin, Lillet blanc, fennel simple syrup, lemon, and Liquore Galliano mist ($11) -- Moe plans on showcasing the Valley's largest collection of whiskeys and scotches as well as cocktails on tap.

Described as boasting a "style-forward atmosphere with dramatic high ceilings and modern design elements," The Gladly will feature an elevated, semi-private dining area, a secluded banquet room, and an expansive stainless steel bar.
