Get off the couch. Get outta the house. Here are our top picks for things to do this weekend.

Douchebag Party @ Smashboxx Fear not the douchiness within. Embrace your inner fake tan, hair spikes, popped collar, and roid arms. Young d-bag, repeat after us: "If you're looking for douches, they're on aisle me." (Okay, we totally stole that from Parks and Rec. Whatev.) Got it? Good. Now you're ready for the third annual Douchebag Party at Smashboxx in (duh) Scottsdale. Admission is $40. The douchebaggery starts at 7 p.m. will spill over to neighboring club Dollhouse.

Brian Posehn @ Stand Up Live Yeah. You know Brian Posehn. He's the yeti-shaped, sometimes creepy dude from Mr. Show, Just Shoot Me!, and The Sarah Silverman Program. And he'll be performing at Stand Up Live Friday at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m., and on Saturday at 7 and 9:45 p.m.. Tickets are $20 and there's a two-drink minimum.

This American Life Live! @ Phoenix Art Museum Capturing and broadcasting compelling stories is what radio show This American Life is known for. The program's third-ever live show, which was taped in New York in May, takes Ira Glass' stories to a new level by surrounding them with live performances, a short film from Mike Birbiglia, Tig Notaro's comedy, and -- squeal -- some new material from longtime contributor David Sedaris.

The episode screens at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Phoenix Art Museum. General admission tickets are $18 and museum members pay $15.

Chris Guillebeau @ Changing Hands Dear college grads sick of living in their parents' basements: Chris Guillebeau has a bright little idea for ya. Instead of trying to hold down a "real job," gather your good ideas and figure out how to turn 'em into dollar signs. In The $100 Startup: Reinvent the Way You Make a Living, Do What You Love, and Create a New Future he explains just how he and other start-uppers have done just that.

He'll discuss and sign the book at Changing Hands on Saturday at 4 p.m. Admission is free; the book costs $23 -- maybe ma will spot you the cash.

Summer Swimsuit Fashion Show @ Sushi Roku Whether you're looking for summer swimsuit inspiration or a hefty helping of skinspiration, styles from Diane's Beachwear will be on parade starting at 5 p.m. Sunday at Sushi Roku. Admission is free, and the first 100 guests will score super-sweet goodie bags.
