Old Town Scottsdale will get a new upscale dining option next month when Bourbon & Bones Chophouse & Bar opens its doors to the public. The new restaurant comes from Square One Concepts, the same folks behind such Old Town eateries as Crab & Mermaid Fish House and Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers.

Located at 4200 North Scottsdale Road (that's the southwest corner of Third Avenue and Scottsdale Road), Bourbon & Bones will serve top-quality dry- and wet-aged steaks including bone-in cuts and chops, plus fresh seafood. Chef Isaac Carter will head up the kitchen; Carter, who also oversees Crab & Mermaid, comes to Scottsdale after spending time working at Eva Longoria’s Las Vegas Beso restaurant and Todd English Pub.

Local mixologist Richie Moe will design the restaurant's cocktail menu, which will be complemented by a selection of more than 75 high-end bourbons and a 750-bottle glass wine case.

The 4,000-square-foot, Midcentury Modern building will be decked out with reclaimed wood, distressed leather booths, and walnut tables, along with a private dining room. The restaurant will be open from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. with happy hour offered from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Bourbon & Bones is expected to open in early September 2016. For more information, check the Bourbon & Bones website
