Not much sounds better than someone offering to take care of the cooking for you during a major holiday. Thanks to the many good-hearted eateries around the Valley, you can leave grocery shopping, cooking, and leftover allocations off your to-do list.

Here are six restaurants offering pick-up and to-go catering, desserts, and entire reheatable meals  — even a vegan option — in metro Phoenix.

24 Carrots Natural Café and Juice Bar
1701 East Guadalupe Road, Tempe

Eat, drink, be vegan with the 24 Carrots holiday to-go catering menu. To-go options include starters like coconut butter biscuits or gluten-free bread, entrées like the Swedish meatballs with lingonberry preserves and gravy, and sides like scalloped “bacun” potatoes, broccoli and cranberry slaw, sweet potato and pumpkin mash. And for dessert, try a box of assorted gluten-free cookies. You can also order packages like the “For One” option for each guest at $19.99 or serve four to six guests with the “Family Style” option at $135. Orders must be received by midnight on Thursday, December 20, and can be picked up after 11 a.m. on Sunday, December 23. Call in your order at 480-753-4411.

For more ready-made meals and treats, AZ Food Crafters is offering to-go options like five- to nine-inch quiches, mini sweet hand pies, and boxes of cookies by the pound. Choose from Quiche Lorraine with bacon, cheddar and scallions or the Quiche Florentine with spinach, tomato, fresh herbs and Swiss cheese. Pie flavors include Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate Cream, and Classic Apple, while assorted boxes of treats come as Pistachio Cranberry Biscotti, Mexican Wedding Cookies, Chocolate Decadence Brownies, and more. Pre-orders can be made online at or at 480-264-2532 at least 48 hours in advance. Pick-ups are available from 8 a.m. 6 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday, from AZ Food Crafters Kitchen, and at various hours at Roadrunner Park Farmers Market, Gilbert Farmers Market, and Ahwatukee Farmers Market.

Christmas morning means one thing to many — presents! So, breakfast may just have to wait. That is, unless you grab a take-away holiday breakfast from Over Easy. The breakfast menu includes options like cheddar jalapeño biscuits and gravy, yogurt and quinoa, nut banana French toast, and the well-known chilaquiles breakfast casserole. The menu is available for pre-order at the Biltmore and Arcadia locations for pick up on Christmas Eve and comes with reheating instructions.

Ever fantasized about having restaurant grade appetizers and food stations in your own home? Jennifer’s Catering is offering holiday to-go packages, including reheatable appetizers like Uptown Piggies in a Blanket, risotto arancini, pancetta wrapped shrimp, and miniature crab cakes. You can also grab DIY stations like the shrimp cocktail, hummus and garden veggie, bruschetta, luxe cheese, and Jennifer’s famous potato chips stations. Just call 48 hours in advance. Pick up everything from whole pies and pastry platters to salads and reserve rotisserie prime rib dinners with holiday catering from La Grande Orange Grocery and LGO Bake Shop. Orders must be placed by Thursday, December 20, at 1 p.m. and will be available for pickup on Sunday, December 23, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. or Monday, December 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 602-840-7777 to place your order or visit LGO Grocery to fill out a form.

If you’ve been tasked with bringing a holiday pie to dinner or whatever, consider the many options available at Sweet Provisions in Scottsdale — as well as the Phoenix-based Common Ground Culinary locations, The Collins and The Macintosh. House-made pie flavors include pumpkin, key lime, coconut cream, butterscotch pecan, and more depending on the location from which you're picking up dessert. Pies are $24 and must be ordered 72 hours in advance. Christmas pies must be ordered by Saturday, December 22, and can be picked up on either December 23 or December 24.
