This week Central Phoenix gets a new dining option in Pomelo, the first of three concepts to open at The Orchard PHX. The full-service restaurant, located at 7100 North 12th Street, will serve contemporary American food and comes equipped with an imported Italian pizza oven. The eatery is housed inside the original homestead owned by the Wasser family in the 1920s, and includes a large courtyard and multiple patio. Pomelo opens to the public on Thursday, May 5. Free Pizza for Teachers at Organ Stop Pizza

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and Mesa's Organ Stop Pizza is celebrating with a deal. Teachers with valid ID can get a gift card for a free pizza from Mesa's Organ Stop Pizza.
