A new restaurant, Revo Pizzabar, will open early next month at 200 East Fifth Street in Tempe -- inside the Tempe Transit Center just off ASU's Tempe campus and steps from Mill Avenue.

The new restaurant was created by the founder of the well-loved and now-defunct Tempe brewpub Bandersnatch and will serve a menu of European-style pizzas, pastas, and salads. Oh, and did we mention online ordering and delivery seven days a week? Revo will have that too.

Revo Pizzabar diners will have the option to build their own pizza or go for one of the suggested combos. All will be available on a traditional, wheat, or gluten-free crust. The restaurant also will serve build-your-own macaroni and cheese skillets featuring cavatelli pasta topped with ingredients such as chicken, bacon, truffle oil, or egg.

On the drinks side, there will be beer, wine, and a selection of cocktails including the Sideways, made with Basil Hayden's whiskey, Luxardo apricot, lemon juice, and Chardonnay and the Camillo Negroni made with Plymouth gin, Aperol, red vermouth, and club soda.

During the morning, Revo will serve coffee and locally made pastries for commuters.

Revo will offer online ordering, as well as delivery, from 11 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. The grand opening is planned for Friday, October 10.
