Tuesday nights at Skeptical Chymist have an academic ambience. The Irish Pub Quiz features European beer specials, but everything else about the evening is right out of the schoolhouse.

During the Scottsdale pub's weekly trivia night, there are strict time limits, no cell phones, and some serious brain teasers that get harder as your tab increases. It helps to know a little bit about everything. The rounds have random themes such as fish, celebrity name changes and sports brands.

The top three teams receive prizes and the winner gets a $50 gift card. There are bonus prizes such as beer mugs and beer brand shirts awarded throughout the evening as well.
