Pete Petrisko can't seem to shake this place.

The longtime downtown Phoenix creative type/former gallery owner/performance artist, who was recently reported dead by azcentral.com, moved to Tucson a few months back. However, he's been making frequent trips back to the Valley for on-location shoots for his new video project, Shake Some Dust. (According to Petrisko, the phrase is also 1930s slang for "to start moving.")

Petrisko, whose binary-chaos.net vidcast scored a New Times' Best of Phoenix award in 2009, started this endeavor a few months ago with his gal pal Rikki Lee. Some of the videos are straight-up music based while others feature artsy portrayals of the RPM Orchestra, a Bauhaus-like performance art/sound collage project founded and headed by Petrisko.
